The October 2004 exercise was a simulation of a terrorist attack, infecting the North Royalton area with Smallpox. We set up a simulated inoculation facility in North Royalton High School. The goal in a real emergency would be to inoculate 30,000 residents in four days. This requires our Security group to maintain order and traffic flow, Logistics to get tables, chairs, food, etc., Operations and Planning to set up a command center and maintain communications, Personnel to coordinate assignments, and, of course, Medical to do the actual inoculation.
